Hardship case – Accident (Total Loss)

Submission of Application

1. Applicant fill application form within a time frame of six months from the time of accident and submit same to TOWF at Level 5, The Celicourt Building, Sir Celicourt Antelme Street, Port Louis with the following documents (original and 1 copy):-
   1. Taxi Operator ID Card
   2. PSVL of taxi operator
   3. Report from Insurance Companies
   4. Bank A/c Number of taxi operator
   5. Report from Motor Surveyor
   6. Police Report (if available)

Verification of Application

2. The Desk Officer of TOWF will verify the Application Form together with the originals and copies of documents submitted and will certify the copies submitted as true copy of the originals.
3. The TOWF officer returns the originals to the applicant and submit the application form and the copies for processing.

A taxi operator is eligible to a grant of Rs 24,150 every 5 years.
