Submission of Application

  1. Applicant to fill the Application Form within a time frame of six months of the result date and to submit same to the Taxi Operators Welfare Fund (TOWF) at Level 5, The Celicourt Building, Sir Celicourt Antelme Street, Port Louis together with the following documents (original and 1 copy):-
    1. PSVL of Taxi Operator
    2. NIC of the Taxi Operator
    3. Birth Certificate of student
    4. NIC of student (If 18 years or above)
    5. Result Slip of student
    6. Bank Account Details of the Taxi Operator

Verification of Application

  1. The Desk Officer of TOWF will verify the Application Form together with the originals and copies of documents submitted and will certify the copies submitted as true copy of the originals.
  2. The TOWF officer returns the originals to the applicant and submits the Application Form and the copies for processing.

Result Eligibility Criteria

SC Examination

  • Obtained Credit in at least 6 Subjects including English, Mathematics and French at one sitting; and
  • Obtained a maximum of 10 Units on aggregate level.

G.C.E “O” Level Examination

  • Having obtained at least grade “C” in 5 subjects including English, Mathematics and French at one sitting; and
  • Having obtained grade “A” in at least 5 subjects with respect to the above sitting

HSC Examination

  • Having passed at aggregate level; and
  • Is on the list of 1st 500 students as per the list of the Mauritius Examination Syndicate

OR

  • Is on the list of Laureates of the Mauritius Examination Syndicate

G.C.E “A” Level Examination

  • Have obtained at least 3 “A” in subjects at principal level at one sitting.

Grant:
Laureate: Rs 10,000    
HSC: Rs 10,000
SC: Rs 5,000
